Last weekend I got to spend some time with the family…..Grandkids…..very cool and fun.  I know it was going to be a pretty hot and sunny day…. So as I looked around my space I remembered I had two hats somewhere….just had to find them…. In your life you sometimes collect things….some for no logical reason and some for sentimental reasons…I have always pick up hats from places I have gone….sort of a way to remember that day or that trip……the 2 hats I found and stuff in my bag were from a trip that went all the way back to Aug 2011…..wow where does the time go….each hat had a hand written name in it….and the date….That was a special day…..but it’s time for the hats to be repurposed to a new memory…..and for these old hats it’s time…..out with the old and in with the new……and it really was a fun day…….We went to Water World….and 2 Canon Beach Hats…….got repurposed……….lots of sun and water…..this photo taken with my note 4…….

As we walked a storm started to head our way…….and let me tell you when it rains………it rain like you would not believe…….

A walk though the woods…..it’s just an experience that I never grow tired of…….recently I took some time away from work…..and I decided to go east…..it has been sometime since I traveled there…..so after a few stops I ended up in Asheville, NC….What a magical place it was…..so many things to say…….but went to the Biltmore Estate…….and with more then 8,000 acre to wonder around you can almost get lost…..as I was walking found a spot that really was magical…….. hope you enjoy it……it was simply beautiful……….

Well here we go……It was the first time I was able to attend the Pride Parade…..and overall it was experience to be hold…. I came over early so I could wonder around…..one of my favorites things to do with a camera….. I decided to take photos of the folks who were there to watch the Parade…….it was unique day……and I did enjoy most of the time there….of course there are and will always be the few that push the envelope…..and make it about themselves……..but it is San Francisco……..Here are a few for now…..

People that know me….know that I love to take walks….and some of the time your walks are at familiar places…..Lake Merritt…….. Treasure Island….Rodeo Cove Beach….Muir Woods…..maybe just on the streets of SF……but sometimes it’s the walk where you really don’t know where your going……not knowing whats over the next hill……for me life is a lot like that….I mean we don’t really know what tomorrow might bring……we sometimes let heartaches from are past keep us from finding out what’s just over the next hill……..That’s Life……and sometimes you just have to reach out and take the hand that is there…..I’m not saying forget the past……just move forward…..and let what happen today be a magic moment to remember tomorrow………no one ever said it would be easy………..now did they…..??? go ahead take a change……what do you have to lose…..

A cold Sunday in SF……..

Another Friday Night in the City…. If you are ever out near Union Square it’s really worth the time to stop and give them a listen….. It’s just a good time……
