From time to time as you go through old hard drives with photos you sometimes find a magical photo from days gone by……. This is one I always liked of my Grandkids….. and the backstory is it’s not the photo we were trying to take….  We were hoping for a shot of the girls with new dresses….  But the little one wanted nothing to do with it…. We tried everything to get them to smile for the photo, but not today…. At last Lily just started to cry and big sister put her arms around her to comfort her…. at that moment I push the button on the camera and got a far more tender moment of 2 sisters….

I sometimes enjoy just sitting on the front porch and drink my coffee…… and sometimes I have a visitor… this morning it was a Brown Thrasher……. and I had my camera…..

Something new is always a good thing…..

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of my heart attack…. the good news is I’m doing well….. I have made some major changes in my life…. I have moved out of California and now enjoying NC….. All is Well….. I do miss my family and grandkids… and my friends that I worked with and hung out with….. but I will see you all again when I return doing some workshops…. So See You all then…… Here is a cell phone shot of me and my new cup……

Well, I returned to looking glass falls….. Well, it was sunny when I left my house.. but on the other side of the mountains was a bit of a surprise… it turned into a big rain storm…. and the falls were amazing…. everything was so green…If you go back to April 29th you can see the falls on that day

Well, it’s Saturday and it’s off on another adventure…. as I look around it’s amazing seems like every building is made of brick and has a history……

Well, this really is just my opinion but I did go see black panther……..and it really wasn’t that good……. Then Along Came the new Avenger movie I thought the last one wasn’t too bad……. Well it was as bad as Black Panther in my opinion……… And now comes the final insult I really didn’t like Deadpool the original but decided to chance volume two……went with friends to see it……. Well, this could be the worst yet…….and I might walk out on it but again folks just my opinion…….

Having just arrived here in Asheville, NC….. I’m still getting the feel of the land…. and I have been here a few times in the past and one of the coffee shops that I really like was called Leicester Family Restaurant… It was a coffee shop and it was a little ragged on the edges…. but if ever you wanted a home away from home this place was it…. everything about was like a visit to your family get together it was simply a fun place…. but sad to say all things change… a few days ago I found out they were closing down & selling the business…. now I understand there are lots of reasons….. more then I need to know…. but in my short time here it was always fun….. I will miss it and the folks that make it work….
